rain clouds and rainbows.

I think that it’s true that things, good and bad, find us when we least expect them to.

And I’m thankful for that. I am not the kind of girl that chases things, whether they be rainbows or rain clouds, but if I’m blessed enough to stand beneath a rainbow, then I’ll appreciate it’s color. And if a rain cloud finds me? Then I guess I’ll have to dance in the rain.

The reason I’m bringing this up is because I’ve been acquainted with quite a few rain clouds lately. And just  when you think the sun is here for good, another cloud comes by to rain on your parade. Now for awhile, I was like anyone else. I’d hide beneath umbrellas so I didn’t have to get wet. I’d hide inside. But recently, I decided to open the windows and doors and burn all of the umbrellas. I’m done making excuses for the clouds instead of learning to except the rain.  You see, life will throw rain clouds in many different forms. But living life isn’t about learning to live through the rain, it’s about enjoying the rain.

And making sure that you appreciate the rainbows.
